Monday, December 23, 2002 AD Not Out of the Woods Yet The new video driver won't stay installed. Every time I reboot, it reverts to the old one. Hoping another round of calls today can rectify that. Other problems include: my C drive is now named E and I can't seem to rename it, I need to install my Wacom tablet and the hardware isn't being found when I run the setup, still need to reinstall lots of other stuff and transfer all my files back. So it may be another day or two before I'm really back in business.
UPDATE, 12/23: THe new video driver evidently won't stay installed because it's not the right one. And it's not the right one because there isn't a right one -- the card doesn't seem to be updatable.
