Wednesday, May 21, 2003 AD Why Do We Give? One of my elders sometimes asks this question before the offering is received, and invites responses from the congregation. He asked it this past Sunday, and Paulo turned to me and whispered, "Because we don't want our pastors to starve!" If I'm brave enough, I might respond with that next time.
