Tuesday, August 26, 2003 AD Run, Escort, Run My car's in the shop. A new belt and belt tensioner are needed and then it'll supposedly stop making that awful racket. It started making the racket on my trip, but it was a fairly subdued racket. This morning the racket reached an intolerable volume, necessitating the trip to the garage and the rental of another car for the day and the billing of another couple hundred bucks to my poor credit card.
