Sunday, June 26, 2005 AD Ohhhh...That Charles! A lunch today I was greeted by our NSA contingent with, "We have a question: Are you Kyriosity?" Turns out that one of their number is none other than Triumvir Charles. I don't think I can grant The High Post beyond-gnostic acquaintanceship status quite yet, though, considering I've only met one of the three, and not the one who does the lion's share of the posting. Still, it was a pleasant surprise to meet yet another online acquaintance in the flesh. I even learned Charles's Deep, Dark, Shameful Secret: the poor guy has never seen "The Princess Bride." Nor had another one of the fellows. I thought NSA was in the business of providing a fine education, yet here are these two with such an egregious gap in fundamental knowledge. Tsk, tsk!
