Friday, July 29, 2005 AD Of Course. What Was I Thinking? So I'm on my way home last night, and decided to pop into the Safeway to pick up a few things. They had a lot of their 2-liter sodas on sale for $1, so I thought I'd pick up a few bottles. I got a couple Diet Cokes with Lime, and then headed for the Diet Dr Pepper. But there was none -- the one gap in an entire aisle wall of soft drinks. Then it dawned on me: I was trying to find Diet Dr Pepper at the closest grocery store to the home of Karen A., the world's leading consumer of the product.
