Tuesday, August 16, 2005 AD I Prolly Won't Win It... ...but I've wanted one of these for a long time. And that one's just about perfect: beautiful shape, Arabic numerals, chimes the quarter hour, doesn't need to be wound. I heard a story ages and ages ago about a woman who had a chiming clock, and she used the chimes as a reminder to draw her attention back to God. The idea has stuck with me over a decade, so I thought I'd start keeping my eye out for a clock I liked.
