Valerie is a 42-year-old, single, Reformed Christian lady who lives in Baltimore. She doesn't remember a time
before she knew and loved Jesus, but she does remember accepting John Calvin into her heart in March of 2000.
Valerie is a member of Christ Reformed Evangelical Church in Annapolis.
Though her career aspiration is to be a housewife, Valerie has not yet found anyone suitable who wishes to hire
her for employment in that field (or, more properly, anyone suitable has not found her), so in the meantime she
earns her daily bread working in communications -- editing, writing, print design and website management.
You Know You're Getting Old When...
...you start to think of Ibuprofen as one of the major food groups.

IMO, at your age (which is just a tad less than mine) you shouldn't be feeling that way, barring any actual medical issues, injuries, etc. I was popping the Ibbies a lot six months or so ago, but looking back, it was a result of stress, some dental issues that needed to be addressed (that were causing more than mere tooth pain -- I think you're familiar with that) and such. I'm six months older than I was then and haven't popped a single pain reliever in weeks. Don't just assume you're getting old -- think about whether there is something that can be addressed. When you're 70, I'll give you a pass on it -- at barely forty, don't "settle" for chronic discomfort just yet.
