Valerie is a 42-year-old, single, Reformed Christian lady who lives in Baltimore. She doesn't remember a time
before she knew and loved Jesus, but she does remember accepting John Calvin into her heart in March of 2000.
Valerie is a member of Christ Reformed Evangelical Church in Annapolis.
Though her career aspiration is to be a housewife, Valerie has not yet found anyone suitable who wishes to hire
her for employment in that field (or, more properly, anyone suitable has not found her), so in the meantime she
earns her daily bread working in communications -- editing, writing, print design and website management.

On September 30, 2007 5:52 PMMargaret in VAwrote... I have that disease! (See I told you!) It is terrible, and embarassing, when you realize that you (I mean I) have been exhibiting the symptoms once again!
This reminds me of a sniglet I've been trying to develop, or maybe it would work better as one of those Murphy corollaries.
What do you call it when you are approaching your car in the parking lot, see that there is no car facing so you anticipate the luxury of being able to drive straight out, and then a car pulls in opposite in the time it takes you to get in your car and start it?
I noticed this phenomenon when I was shopping the other day. I saw that my car was in this situation, and I thought to myself, "Now I KNOW there will be a car in that other space by the time I'm ready to move. There ought to be a sniglet for that." By the time that thought had been fully formed....you can guess the rest. ;-)
